To show featured posts, put all posts you want to feature in a seperate category and select this category as featured in theme options page.
To show images in featured posts, create custom field called “thumbnail” and paste an url to 222×148 px image in its value

Where do I create this custom field to add the images?
Sorry I realized I sent an email instead of just posting here - this theme is giving me the white screen of death with a fresh install of WP 2.9.2 - worked fine in 2.9.1. Same with a couple of other themes I tried.
Just an FYI.
